ABOUT ABOUT

Keep checking back for tickets as we will release more as additional Trunkers sign up to hand out candy :)

It's back! Welcome to the 3rd Annual Trunk Or Treat proudly brought to you by the TheBigEvent.ca and the Orillia Youth Centre with special thanks to our friends at ODAS Park and Giant Tiger

Join us for a safe and fun Trunk Or Treat experience

NOTE - Please read this information carefully as their are two different registration types - Option 1 - Registering to hand out candy and decorating your vehicle - you're a Trunker - use the 'Vehicle Registration - Handing Out Candy' option OR Option 2 - choosing a time slot so your kids can come to Trunk Or Treat and collect candy (use the 'Trick Or Treat' option and select a time slot).

Option 1 - Registering to hand out candy (Trunker):

Each car is highly encouraged to create a theme and decorate your vehicle / trunk. Some examples are included in the photo gallery. Your theme can be scary, funny or anything you wish, but please ensure it is appropriate for a family event.

We'll have prizes for the best Trunks and Boo Crews! Our goal this year is to have 60 trunks on site.

All candy being given away must be factory sealed and packaged. No homemade goods or self packaged loose candies are to be distributed. You are responsible for bringing candy to hand out. Please be prepared to hand out candy to 400 trick or treaters. We require that you bring a small table or elevated surface to place between the back of your vehicle and the walkway where kids will be passing by. Be prepared for any weather. You will hear that we plan on accomodating up to 1200 kids this year, but you only need to bring 400 candies for the kids.

After you have signed up your vehicle to hand out candy, you will recieve a PDF ticket with important information. Please print this ticket and have it with you upon arrival. Vehicle setup will begin at 11:30am and you must be ready to hand out candy by 12:45pm. Late arrivals may not be accomodated as children will be walking a one-way path trick or treating begining at 1pm. Vehicles should plan to be on site as late as 430pm so that all children have had time to walk to each vehicle. If you need to leave early, please speak to one of our staff to safely escort your vehicle away from the trunk or treating area. If you have children that would like to collect candy, we will have a special session for them at 12:45pm before the main group of kids show up. They will be able to visit each car and collect candy at this time before the main event begins - you DO NOT need to reserve a Trick Or Treating ticket for your own kids.

Option 2 - Choose a Time Slot To Bring Your Child Trick Or Treating:

This is a 'pay what you can' event. All money collected will be used to cover operating expenses and any proceeds will be donated to the Orillia Youth Centre. You are not obligated to pay anything, but a suggested $2 per child donation is very much appreciated! To ensure minimum wait times, we have various registration times and limited the number of arrivals per time slot. Please choose an available time slot and arrive promplty within that time frame or you may be refused entry. When selecting your tickets, choose only the number of children in your group - adults DO NOT need a ticket. To help accomodate as many kids as possible, a maximum of 4 children is allowed per order. Be sure to bring your printed ticket which is a downloadable PDF file provided at the end of the registration process, this ensures you have a reservation for the event.
